Where to go for Free Legal Advice

You can get free legal advice even if you work

Remember that legal 'advice' is different from legal 'representation. The former is much cheaper.

If you cannot afford a private lawyer, or are on a low income, then you may be entitled to receive free advice and/or representation from a legal aid lawyer.

Please note however that only one party in the dispute is eligible to be represented by a legal aid lawyer. To put it simply, 'first in, first served'.

Relationships Australia also provides legal advice.
